Makan-Makan


Recognise this place? Went for makan here last night..

 




This food court (well, I call it a food court, cuz it looks like one.. but it's actually a bunch of restaurants in one area, with seats outside) is in Sedco Complex, Kg. Air here in Kota Kinabalu, of course! Gosh, I didn't realise that I haven't passed this area in such a long time. That's why I only noticed this newly built-up roof on the food court there recently! (to me it's new lah.. cuz I didn't know!)

I remember this food court being there since I was little. My family would always stop by here for supper whenever we want to go watch movie at the nearby cineplex (which is now the GSC). The outside seating area was dark at that time, till recently! It's super bright now! Looks more classy too!

The seats are new, too.. still in the plastic covers. Very comfy. Good-good! This is the classy part I'm talking about! Wink

This is the restaurant that we ordered our food from. We didn't order any fancy seafood, though. Just normal food. The chinese lady who took our orders must be new; she was very polite and smiled at all times! (usually the senior ordertakers look bored and never smiled..). Our food costs RM6 each (restaurant price mah..). Luckily the food were yummy!

These are their aquariums where they keep the fish, frogs, eels, etc. for us to order.

I sat facing the shop below. I like the way they the displays were arranged. It's a souvenir shop by the way.. I was eyeing the ice-cream potong (as seen on the pic below, bottom right), but after I finished my food, too full pula.. so didn't buy any.
