Tanjung Aru

Everytime BF and I come to eat at Tanjung Aru, these are what we would order, everytime.. like just now: Coconut drink, fried kuey tiaw (is that how to spell it?), and of course, my favourite, chicken wings. Usually this meal wouldn't be enough for the 2 of us, but we just ordered this as we were not that hungry.

I just LOVE the chicken wings there! Really yummy!

There were no seats available when we reached there, so what BF did was to ask this one couple whether we could share the bench that they were sitting. Luckily, they let us.

I used to love eating the big sliced raw mangoes, too. But again, since we were too full just now, decided not to buy any.

After dinner we passed by the main restaurant there, also in Tanjung Aru. A Magunatip session was going on. I recorded a session of it. Quite interesting. But during recording, a girl suddenly stopped in the middle of my screen.. apalah.. (Big file size, may take some time to load before playing)

1 - Eating chicken wings not recommended (fatty). And barbecued things also bad (carcinogenic). That's what they told me. So now I hardly ever eat chicken wings. And hardly ever eat BBQ stuff. I guess you get more careful as you get older..... (Comment this)

2 - pinolobu, since I'm desperately trying to put on more weight, this must be why I love chicken wings so much! hehe.. Ya actually heard about the bbq'd food theory. But if I'm not mistaken, a doctor, my friend actually, said that eating cucumber afterwards can counteract the effects of the carcinogenicity. Not too sure about this, but that's what he said..

Well, I guess when I do get older, I hafta be more careful of what I eat too! =) (Comment this)

3 - stuggling to gain weight is distinctly in the minority. you should be thankful for that. the vast majority of ladies are looking for Marie France, Slim World etc.

If your BMI is between 20 and 25 I suppose it's OK lah.............

from my humble research on the net, it seems that any vege, like cucumbers and broccoli is anti-carcinogenic. (Comment this)
