Valentine Part 1 @ Salut Seafood Restaurant
So how was everybody's Valentine's Day yesterday? As for me, this is where BF and I went after work to celebrate our special day: Dinner at Salut Seafood Restaurant!

As it wasn't too far from the KK city itself (and about 20-30 minutes drive from my house), we reached there around 5.30pm, just in time to catch the sunset!
Check out these shells lined up at the restaurant; they're huge! I wonder if there are any pearls inside when these were found..

As usual, we sat on the outdoor part of the restaurant, overlooking the beautiful view of the surroundings.
Guess this restaurant have plans to be extended as the renovation is underway..

I finally get to capture the sunset from this place! And the colours on the sky were just breathtaking. Such a beautiful sunset..

Okay, let's get to the food part. As we reached there quite early, there weren't that many people around just yet, so our food came very quick!

For drinks, BF ordered the sea coconut drink (or something like that), and I ordered.. beer! No, just kidding. It's actually apple juice (but it does look like beer, doesn't it?)..

Pakis (what is this called in English? I know it's some type of fern..) cooked with Belacan..

Lokan with chillies and ginger (yummy too, one of my favourite food!)

And finally, sweet and sour fresh crabs (yummy as well!)

It's not the usual Valentine's dinner (I mean, who in the world eat this much on Valentine's Day?!), but we love the food here so much that we're going to make it an annual event for our Valentine's Day! No need for fancy celebration for us!
Valentine Part 2 post is coming up!

I wonder. How's the food price there? Cheaper than KK city area mkali? one other day will go there la..

And yes, seafood in Sandakan and Tawau are definitely MUCH cheaper than in KK or in Tuaran.. (Comment this)
