Singapore Chicken Rice

I'm sure everybody knows Singapore Chicken Rice. It's been around for a LONG time! This is another eatery where my family would go once in a while since I was in secondary (or was it primary?) school.

Singapore Chicken Rice is well-known for its yummy, original taste of chicken rice, and I personally like their steamed chicken the best, topped with the ginger gravy.. yummy!

This particular S'pore Chicken Rice pics were taken just now at Karamunsing Complex. It finally moved from being at the 1st floor all this time (it's been there for a LONG time!) to a bigger lot at Ground Floor, right beside Rafflesia Chicken Hut. When it was still in 1st floor, the place would be really packed, especially lunch time and on the weekends. Everytime BF and I walked past there, and smelt the heavenly aroma of the chicken, we'd always try to stop by and have a meal, even though we weren't hungry! But of course, everytime we wanted to eat there, there would be no empty seats. So frustrating!

Okay, back to this new shoplot. Now you no longer need to look at a menu, you can just look at the nicely made wall; they've put up all the dishes there! This is kinda cool, as you could just stand in front of the shop and just look at the wall menu, and only go into the shop once you know what you want to order.

Saw some bouquets of flowers there; I guess this place had only been opened quite recently. I like the place now better as compared to the old shop in the 1st floor..

So if you would like to eat some good chicken rice, one of them is definitely Singapore Chicken Rice!
