Parents just came home today, all sore from the climb. I still couldn’t believe it that they have climbed Mt. Trusmadi! Wow..

These are my dad’s message on his climb:
Hi Everyone,
Just came back from Malaysia’s 2nd highest mountain Mt. Trus Madi of
Tambunan, Sabah. Though only 2,462 meters high compared to Kinabalu’s
4,101 meters, personally climbing Mt. Trus Madi is much more difficult
than climbing Mt. Kinabalu. The reward for all the pains is undeniable. The test of physical
endurance for one, and the blessings of seeing moss-covered ancient
forest, the numerous number of nepenthes species along the trails to
Mt, Trus Madi, and of course the fantastic 360 degree view from the mountain peak.On many sections we had to go on fours as the trail were almost 90
degrees slope with only a half-inch nylon rope for support! The Guide
had to help take over my wife’s knapsack load or else we can go no
further. caught up with the rest of our group at our camp site only at 9.00 pm.Many of us (non-pro. climbers) wondered how we managed. But we did and
here are some amateur pictures to prove that we done it!Dad

I know some of you are planning to climb this mountain as well, but would like to get some information first. I will get some info for you guys soon (tomorrow) from my parents, okay? Wanna let them rest first; don’t wanna bombard them with so many questions now. So stay tuned!
