Bea Alonzo To Play Betty La Fea
Yes, I know this news is a few months old, but I didn't see anybody blogging about it!
Y'all, remember the Colombian telenovela called Yo Soy, Betty La Fea? OMG I love that show! And Don Armando! Remember him too? Sigh..
Anyway, the Filipino's ABS-CBN network has acquired the series, and it was first suggested by the viewers that my favourite Filipina actress, Kristine Hermosa should play as the lead actress, but sadly, her name didn't even come up.
So it turned out that Bea Alonzo will play as Betty (pictured above)!
At first I thought, erm.. will she be able to play Betty perfectly (from ugly to pretty at the end of show)?
But then..
I saw this pic:
And I straightaway thought, okay, judging from this pic, she'd be PERFECT as Betty! Don't y'all see the geekiness in her, and yet, the beauty as well?? Both traits are strongly required for Betty! Can't wait for this show to be aired!
Anyway, who's gonna play Mr.Armondo?
I don't know who this actor is (he's been out of the acting scene for a while now), but it's rumoured to be Gabby Concepcion will be playing the role of Armando.
Let's all hope that he'll play a good Mr. Armando, huh?
