Damper To Our Holiday

During our trip to Genting a few weeks back, as soon as we saw the posters and commercial on FREEZE on plasma tvs everywhere in First World Plaza, the man made up his mind to bring me to watch the show before we go back to KK.

So even though he was not feeling well on the last night we were there, we still walked all the way over from First World Plaza to the Genting International Showroom to buy the tickets for that night, but of course we had to stop a few times for him to rest before actually reaching there. Poor guy.

The show was definitely worth our money, but I felt so bad because as soon as we reached back to our hotel, he couldn’t sleep because of his stomach pain and even developed a high fever in the middle of the night, which resulted in him hearing some “people talking” beside his ear, from the voice of grandmothers to little kids. He even heard constant knocking on the door, and all this happened while I was sound asleep! -_-

His reason for not waking me up? He didn’t want me to get scared. But how would you feel if your spouse is in pain and you’re right beside him, sleeping soundly, oblivious to the pain he’s experiencing? Ish.

Anyway, that was sure the biggest damper on our holiday.

Already planning for our next holiday hehe!

Missing My Sewing Time

As I was rummaging through the house’ storeroom, I found my fabrics again (well some, not all) :p

I haven’t done any bag sewing recently, as I just don’t have the time!

“But you have a choice! You can MAKE time if you want it bad enough!” I know some of you are saying that. But.. it’s not that easy.

I never thought my new job would take a huge part of my time not only in the day but also at night! Wake up super early, come back late, and by the time I finish cooking dinner and feed the dogs and bunnies, I’d be so tired that I don’t feel like doing anything else but go sleep! Gah!

What more on my PMS time now. Perfect timing to have it.. right at the time when I’m doing the payroll for all 6 outlets all by myself. Super stressed out okay.

But I do love going grocery shopping, especially after work to grab just some vegetables or fish at Servay Likas and bringing them home to cook for hubby. That’s the perk of the day for me; to be able to cook something yummy for myself and the man.

According to him, I can even just cook sardine from the can and eat it with rice and he’d be satisfied, because he sees how busy I am in the office. But there is NO WAY I’m cooking him just sardines for dinner! Mana kenyang tu! And knowing him, he loves to have varieties in his food, so he needs to eat more veggies, that guy!

Oh wow. Just realised I’m rambling! Ha!

But yea.. I hope to be able to do some sewing again soon! I saw some pretty cool looking handbags with these western belts on them, and how I wish I could sew one just like that! But to be able to sew leather, I would have to upgrade my sewing machine! Argh! >.<

What To Give??

Usually the man and I would only have a special meal to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

But sometimes he would surprise me with gifts after meal, even though we have agreed not to give each other any gifts.

But since this year will be our first Valentine as a married couple, he suddenly suggested that we should exchange gifts! Talk about last minute! Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day!!

So question is, what should I give him? Takkan I give him a titanium jewelry pula right?

I suck in giving gifts, seriously.

The Musical Side In Me

Being a Pisces, I just love to tap into my creativity side and try out new musical instruments.

In school, I get to play the recorder, the keyboard, then in junior high, the violin, the french horn, and finally the flute.

I just absolutely love playing the flute! In fact, I loved it so much that my parents even bought the flute for me! I remember playing in the school band and always having the solo parts to perform in front of all the parents in school!

Ahh memories!

But if there is another instrument that I could try out, I would definitely try banjo electric . I mean, after seeing Taylor Swift play it, kinda makes me want to learn to play it as well! Looks kinda cool bah!

Those New Coins

I’m not sure about you guys, but I am excited about the introduction on new coins starting January!

I guess I’m just a fan of new things, so naturally I would welcome this change with open arms. I have already received one 50sen coin last week during my grocery trip, and it looks so much like a game token! So cute!

And speaking of coins, I only JUST found out what a challenge coin is! I’ve seen it in movies that universities and colleges even have this, but it’s just too bad my own college didn’t have it when I was studying there. It could have been a cool collector’s item!

Encourage Healthy Hobbies

When someone that you love starts taking up a hobby, one that is a positive one, why not just encourage them?

The hubby always encourages me to try new things, like photography and sewing, so I think it is only fair that I encourage him on what he likes, right?

He wishes to own a super bike so that he could use them on the weekends or during his rare free time, and although I couldn’t buy it for him, I would sometime snap some pictures of the nice super bikes he likes if I happen to see any in town, or send him links to sites with super nice bike photos. It’s the least that I can do, haha.

And one day when he does own one, I wouldn’t mind going on a trip (though not a fast one, haha) on his bike to show him my support.

But when that time comes, do we need to install suv bike racks to his 4wd in order to put the bike in?

Anyways, speaking of bikes, there is one type of bike that I wouldn’t mind riding with him..

The tandem bike!

Romantic mah! ;)
